This afternoon for whatever reason, I pulled up this neat little program on my computer that I use to manage my photos - Picasa - by Google.
Often I find some piece of software that fills a specific need in my life, and then I unconsciously limit the program to that realm and rarely delve into its more advanced features and functions. Unless, at some point those features themselves fill in another need and in that case, I am all for centralization and simplification. I have a great disdain for having one program to organize my music, another program to organize my videos, and yet another for internet radio - in all cases, simplify. That's my motto - or at least it should be.
So while browsing my pictures I decided to find out what other features I could integrate into Picasa, and I noticed one called "Blog This!" To make a long story short, here I am - writing my first entry of my first blog. I can't say that I'm a victim of happenstance, for this is something that I've been contemplating for a long time - Google, once again, just made things easier for me to centralize and simplify. With that said, here I come - the first of many blogs for the world to contemplate (although I can't imagine who will read this).
